Moss Cottage

Winner of  Silver award at the 2013 World’s original Marmalade Awards.

Welcome to Moss Cottage, a Bed and Breakfast where you will find service and friendship that you thought died out many years ago.

A charming detached house located just a 15 minute walk from the very centre of Stratford-upon-Avon with its wonderful timbered houses and theatres.

All our rooms are spacious and en-suite with hospitality trays, bottled water and flat screen televisions with built in dvd players.

We have free on-site parking and free Wi-Fi and guests have unrestricted access at all times.

You will be treated to a tasty full English breakfast, or choose scrambled egg and smoked salmon, all followed by toast and homemade preserves. Vegetarian and coeliac options are available too.

 

Stratford-upon-Avon was the home of the great playwright William Shakespeare. Here you can visit his Birthplace. The site of his last house New Place, the house where he courted his wife, Anne Hathaway’s Cottage, his mother’s farm Mary Arden’s Farm, the residence of his daughter, Hall’s Croft, as well has visiting his grave at Holy Trinity Church.

Stratford-upon-Avon is also home to The Royal Shakespeare Theatre which is just a 15 minute walk from Moss Cottage.

Of course Stratford-upon-Avon is more than just Shakespeare. While here why not visit The Museum of Wizardology, The Butterfly farm, The Mad musuem, take a pleasure boat or even hire your own boat on  the river Avon. Just a few miles from Stratford is the Amazing Warwick Castle or try Stratford Armoury. So much to see and do.

Stratford racecourse is also just a 10 minute walk away. Check their dates for some exciting horse racing!
